∙ 14y ago59 should be 5/9 ie 5 divided by 9
Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) x 5/9
eg if Fahrenheit = 113 then
Celsius = (113-32) x 5/9
= 81 times 5 divided by 9 = 45 degrees celsius
I still think that for people who don't always have a calculator with them, taking the Celsius temperature as a percentage of 180 and adding 32 is easier to do in my head than dividing almost anything by 9 and multiplying it by 5.

∙ 14y agoThe formula to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius is (Fahrenheit - 32) * 5/9. The fraction 5/9 is used to convert the temperature difference between Fahrenheit and Celsius scales. Multiplying by 5/9 adjusts for the difference in scale intervals between the two temperature systems.
For conversion between fahrenheit, celsius, rankin and kelvin use the following formulas: Fahrenheit = Celsius * 9 / 5 + 32 Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15 Rankine = Fahrenheit + 459.6
To convert 375 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius for oven temperature, use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8. Therefore, 375 degrees Fahrenheit is approximately 190.6 degrees Celsius.
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, you can use the formula F = (C * 9/5) + 32. For 24 degrees Celsius, the conversion would be (24 * 9/5) + 32 = 75.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) x 5/9. So, for 32 degrees Fahrenheit, the conversion would be: (32 - 32) x 5/9 = 0 degrees Celsius.
27 degrees Celsius is equal to 80.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Use this equation to convert degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC) to degrees Fahrenheit (ºF): [°F] = [°C] × 1.8 + 32
You can make one yourself with Excel. Use the formula: Fahrenheit = Celsius x (9/5) + 32. Or just use the formula when you need it.
To convert Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C), you can use the formula: (Fahrenheit - 32) x 5/9 = Celsius.
Apply the Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion in revers: Multiply Celsius temperature with 9 and divide it by five. Then, add 32 = Fahrenheit temperature.
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8. Plugging in 81 degrees Fahrenheit, you get Celsius = (81 - 32) / 1.8 = 27 degrees Celsius.
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) * 5/9. Plugging in 50 for Fahrenheit gives us: Celsius = (50 - 32) * 5/9, which simplifies to approximately 10 degrees Celsius.
Use this equation to convert degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC) to degrees Fahrenheit (ºF): (ºC x 1.8) + 32 = ºF
Use this equation to convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC): [°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9
For conversion between fahrenheit, celsius, rankin and kelvin use the following formulas: Fahrenheit = Celsius * 9 / 5 + 32 Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15 Rankine = Fahrenheit + 459.6
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) x 5/9. Just substitute the Fahrenheit temperature into the formula to get the equivalent temperature in Celsius.
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, use the formula: °F = (°C x 9/5) + 32. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, use the formula: °C = (°F - 32) x 5/9.
