∙ 17y agoSee whether you can follow these steps. 1. Make your units consistent. Do not mix units. Either convert inches to feet of feet to inches. 2. Using the equation for the volume of a cylinder, calculate the cylinder's volume. The volume of a cylinder is just the product of its height and the area of its base. The base is, of course, a circle. 3a. Your answer will be in cubic inches or cubic feet. If you know how much one cubic inch (or cubic foot) of water weighs, multiply that value by the answer you got in step #2. 3b. If you only know how much a GALLON of water weighs, well, then you will have to convert cubic inches (or cubic feet) to gallons. Then multiply that value by the weight of a gallon of water. You're done! Note that you can find conversion factors -- gallons to cubic feet, cubic feet to gallons -- and the formula for the area of a circle, and the value of Pi here on WikiAnswers.com

∙ 17y agoThe weight of a column of water can be calculated using the formula: weight = volume x density x gravity. For a 100-foot column of water that is 4 inches in diameter, the volume would be 2520 cubic inches. Assuming a density of water as 62.4 lbs/ft^3 and gravity as 9.81 m/s^2, the weight would be approximately 1085 pounds.
The pressure at the bottom of a column of water depends on the height of the column, not its diameter. The pressure increases with increasing depth due to the weight of the water above. So, a taller column will result in higher pressure at the bottom.
That depends what you want to measure: its diameter, its mass, its weight, its color, etc.
Pizzas are often measured in either inches (for diameter) or grams (for weight). Size or weight information is typically provided by the pizza vendor.
Grams and inches measure different things - grams measure weight and inches measure length. Therefore, it is not possible to convert grams to inches directly.

The weight (not mass) is 69.05 pound weight.
For Mild Steel Bars: Diameter (in inches): 1/4" Weight per foot: 0.167 lb/ft Diameter (in inches): 3/8" Weight per foot: 0.376 lb/ft Diameter (in inches): 1/2" Weight per foot: 0.668 lb/ft Diameter (in inches): 5/8" Weight per foot: 1.043 lb/ft Diameter (in inches): 3/4" Weight per foot: 1.502 lb/ft Diameter (in inches): 1" Weight per foot: 2.670 lb/ft For High-Strength Deformed (HSD) Steel Bars (commonly used in construction): Diameter (in millimeters): 8 mm Weight per meter: 0.395 kg/m Diameter (in millimeters): 10 mm Weight per meter: 0.617 kg/m Diameter (in millimeters): 12 mm Weight per meter: 0.888 kg/m Diameter (in millimeters): 16 mm Weight per meter: 1.579 kg/m Diameter (in millimeters): 20 mm Weight per meter: 2.467 kg/m Diameter (in millimeters): 25 mm Weight per meter: 3.853 kg/m
A 60 liter drum typically has an inner diameter of 380 mm and an outer diameter of 395 mm. The height is 575 mm, and the weight is 4,1 kg. In US measurements the inner diameter is 14.96 inches, the outer is 15.55 inches, and the height is 22.64 inches. The weight is 9.04 pounds.
Weight per metre length= 0.559 kg
The diameter of a silver dollar typically measures around 1.5 inches or 38.1 millimeters.
The ball measures between 8.5 inches to 8.595 inches across (diameter) and can weigh no more than 16 pounds - there is no minimum weight specified
To calculate the outside diameter of a roll of carpet, you can use the following formula: Outside Diameter (in inches) = √[(Weight in pounds / (Width in feet x Length in feet)) * 32] In your case: Weight = 1000 pounds Width = 12 feet Length = 180 feet Outside Diameter (in inches) = √[(1000 / (12 x 180)) * 32] Outside Diameter ≈ √[(1000 / 2160) * 32] Outside Diameter ≈ √(0.1481 * 32) Outside Diameter ≈ √4.7392 Outside Diameter ≈ 2.18 inches So, the outside diameter of a 1000-pound roll of carpet that is 12 feet by 180 feet is approximately 2.18 inches.
