Musical Pitch

Boat Propeller- On a boat propeller you would measure the pitch in inches. Usually the propeller would have 2 numbers the first would be the diameter of the propeller in inches the second would be the pitch followed by the letters RH or LH. or sometimes just R or L. So if you saw a propeller with 26 18 RH. That would be a 26 inch diameter propeller with 18 inch pitch. Right Hand. I have never seen the pitch of a boat propeller stamped on the propeller in degrees such as an angle. So please don't take down my answers. I have been a captain for 30 years so I know what I am talking about.
