The measurement you need in order to fence a garden is the garden's
perimeter. That's a length, and it can be expressed in any length units.
For a typical home garden, feet or meters would be most convenient.
You would typically measure the perimeter of the garden in feet or meters to determine how much Fencing you will need.
Metres for its length and breadth, square metres for its area.
If it is a relatively small park, use feet. Otherwise, yards may be more appropriate.
Depends on the length of garden, but I guess cm should do it
Metres for length, centimetres for height.
A fence would be measured in metres.
Meters.
Please enclose the documents in the envelope before mailing them.
A yardstick is typically used to measure shorter distances in feet and inches, while a meter stick is used for longer distances in meters or centimeters. For measuring a fence, it would be more appropriate to use a meter stick as it is likely to be longer than a yardstick's range.
You would use the unit of length, such as meters, kilometers, or miles, to measure how far someone would walk around a figure.
900 mm is only 90 cm. The simplest way would be to insert a wooden rod (garden cane, broom handle, etc). Mark the ground level on the rod. Then measure the distance along the rod from the mark to the end with a tape measure.
A short answer:An electric fence is connected to the ground only when an animal or a human being touches it to complete a circuit from the fence to the ground.A longer answer:The wires of an electric fence are not connected directly to the ground because, if that was done, the fence would be shorted out and would not be able to do its job! This is how an electric fence is actually hooked-up: the electric fence is connected to one side of a specially designed high voltage source and the return side of that source is connected to the ground. Then, whenever the skin of any animal - or human - touches the wire whilst standing on the ground in bare feet, they get a high-voltage (10,000) DC electric pulse from the electric fence. The shocks are designed to be only enough to make them jump back from the fence, not to "electrocute" them so badly as to cause serious injury or death.
Metre to measure its length. Possibly centimetres to measure its height if a garden fence but metres if a security fence.

I would not. I would use a tape measure.
Measuring tape you can buy it at a tool store or a construction store.
A garden has an area of 100 square feet. What is the length of one side of the garden if it is a square?
The length would be 39 feet and the width 36 feet for a perimeter of 150 feet
