You can't tell the linear dimensions from just knowing the area. There are an infinite number
of rectangles, all with different dimensions and perimeters, that all have an area of 64 acres.
Here are a few examples. Each of these rectangles encloses 64 acres:
Length x Width . . . Perimeter (distance around)
1670-ft x 1669.4-ft, 6678.7-ft, 1.265 miles
1920-ft x 1452-ft, 6744-ft, 1.277 miles
1936-ft x 1440-ft, 6752-ft, 1.279 miles
2178-ft x 1280-ft, 6916-ft, 1.310 miles
2560-ft x 1089-ft, 7298-ft, 1.382 miles
2880-ft x 968-ft, 7696-ft, 1.458 miles
3872-ft x 720-ft, 9184-ft, 1.739 miles
17424-ft x 160-ft, 35168-ft, 6.661 miles
The distance around the earth at forty degrees South Latitude would be 19,049 miles. The circumference of Earth at the equator is 24,902 miles.
The distance (circumference) around Jupiter is approximately 279,118 miles. Convert that to feet by multiplying 279,118 X the number of feet in a mile, 5,280 to get 1,473,743,040 feet.
On the surface of the Earth, miles used to be the traditional measure, but now displaced by the SI system with kilometres. An exception is in aviation, where horizontal distances are still measured in miles, and altitude measured in thousands of feet. This is to avoid confusing numbers between these two dimensions. There will still be many ships which measure speed in knots, and distance in nautical miles.
The distance from Wisconsin to the North Pole is approximately 2,000 miles if you were to fly directly north. If you were to walk, ski, or travel by other land methods, the distance would be longer due to the need to navigate around obstacles and bodies of water.
For example, a square of 1000 miles on side would have such an area. Or a rectangle that is a million miles long, and 1 miles wide, etc.
The distance is around 650 km which would be around 404 miles.
The distance would be around 200 kms.
The distance would be around 30 miles.

The distance in miles is about 1290 miles and would take you around 21 hours to drive.
If you imagine a rectangle 20 miles wide and 40 miles long, the area of that rectangle would be 800 square miles.
"Perimeter" means the distance around something. Just add the four sides of the rectangle.
Around 500 miles would be common.
The distance around the Earth is roughly 24,901 miles (40,075 kilometers). This measurement is called Earth's equatorial circumference and represents the distance you would travel if you followed the equator all the way around the planet.
The distance from Walsall to London (as the crow flies) is around 110 miles. The distance to drive from Walsall to London on the shortest possible route is 124 miles. This would take about two and a half hours. The distance from Walsall to London (as the crow flies) is around 110 miles. Seven 9 inch squares placed end to end would form a rectangle that was still 9 inches wide but 7 x 9 = 63 inches long. The distance around such a rectangle would measure its perimeter. Two sides are 9 inches long and two sides are 63 inches long. The perimeter would be 63 + 63 + 9 + 9 = 144 inches.
If it's a big town, then miles.
