∙ 13y agoUsing the formula for resistance of a wire (R = ρ * (L/A)), we can find the resistivity ratio (ρ_aluminum / ρ_copper) as 1.7 since the total current in both wires is the same and the lengths are different. Knowing that the resistivity of copper is 1.7 times less than that of aluminum, and given that resistivity is inversely proportional to cross-sectional area, the diameter of the copper wire will be √(1.7) = 1.3 times the diameter of the aluminum wire. Since the diameter of the aluminum wire is 2mm, the diameter of the copper wire will be 2mm * 1.3 = 2.6mm.
A parallel circuit is a type of circuit where loads are connected side by side. In a parallel circuit, each load has its own path to the power source, allowing them to operate independently of each other. If one load in a parallel circuit fails, the others will continue to function.
A power bar is a type of parallel circuit where multiple outlets are connected to a common power source. This allows multiple electronic devices to be connected and powered simultaneously.
If three equal resistors are connected in parallel, the equivalent resistance will be one-third of the resistance in series. This lower resistance will result in a higher current flowing through the resistors when connected in parallel compared to when they are in series. Therefore, the power dissipated by the resistors in parallel will be greater than 10W.
A parallel circuit
Parallel for main circuits and series parallel for lighting circuits.
Resistance is connected in parallel with voltmeter or say, voltmeter is connected in parallel with resistance.
Home devices are connected in parallel and not in series.
All home appliances are connected in parallel.
In principle, it is infinite. I have not connected a parallel circuit in ages.
A voltmeter can be connected in parallel with a resistor to show the voltage across the resistor.
Parallel to each other.
high voltage field windings are connected in parallel
a parallel bulb is one that is connected in parallel with respect to the source voltage
Because the ammeter connected in parallel will act as a short circuit.
Infinite when chords are parallel to the circle's diameter
An ammeter is connected in series. A voltmeter is connected in parallel. ammeter should always be connected in series instead of parallel becoz it is a low resistance device and we know that resistance is inversly proportional to current so more current will pass through it and if it is connected in parallel than it may get damaged
comparative, respective, comparable, correlative, parallel, corresponding.
