According to Guinness World Records, students of Clarendon College made a sherry trifle weighing 3.13 tonnes (6,900 lb) on 26th September 1990.

The mixture was mixed in a Concrete mixing lorry... Jelly then lot of sponge was broken off into the jelly and the on went the custard and cream... Don't forget the the bits sprinkled on top. I know this as a fact.. Because i was there that day when i should have been off sick from work! I even tried to avoid the TV cameras for the News just so i don't get seen.
