∙ 11y agoAcceleration = (change in speed)/(time for the change)
Bike: (0 - 3)/6 = -1/2 meter per second2
Car: (15 - 20)/6 = -2/3 meter per second2
Both accelerations are negative. The car's is greater.
We could have seen that right away, without all the calculations, just by noticing
that the car loses more speed in the same amount of time ! That's why I couldn't
score bubkes on the GE College Bowl.

True. Air resistance is proportional to surface area, with larger surface areas creating more drag as the object moves through the air. This can result in the object experiencing greater resistance and slowing down.
Greater solvent density means more particles in a given volume, leading to more collisions and interactions between solvent particles and solute molecules, hindering their movement and slowing down diffusion. This increased interaction and crowding restrict the movement of solute molecules, making diffusion slower in denser solvents.
An downward sloping diagonal line on a position vs. time graph indicates constant negative acceleration or deceleration. This means that the object is moving in the negative direction and slowing down over time.
Yes.
The car has a greater change of speed in the same period of time. So the magnitude of its acceleration is greater than the bike's is.`1111111111111111111111111111`1 decel = CHANGE in velocity divided by time in first case decel = 3/6 = .50 in second decel = 5/6 = 0.83 so second case is faster decel
Deceleration refers to the decrease in speed or slowing down of an object over time. It is the opposite of acceleration, which involves an increase in speed.
Deceleration
If you are slowing down, you have negative acceleration, which is commonly referred to as deceleration. Deceleration represents a decrease in velocity over time.
no, deceleration.
That means slowing down.
Deceleration.
The correct spelling of the noun is deceleration (slowing down process).
deceleration aka slowing down?
you doing homework???
It is called deceleration or slowing down.
decreasing 2nd Answer: "Deceleration", actually.
