∙ 16y agoThe white wire should typically connect to L1 on a Dayton 5k534 electric motor. However, to be certain, it's always best to consult the motor's wiring diagram or instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Connect the green wire to the ground terminal, the white wire to the neutral terminal, and the black wire to the hot terminal on the compressor motor. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines when wiring the power cord to the motor. If in doubt, seek the assistance of a qualified electrician.
To wire a single pole switch for a 110 volt motor, connect the hot wire from the power source to one terminal of the switch. Then connect the other terminal of the switch to the hot wire of the motor. Make sure to also connect the neutral wires together and ground the switch for safety.
The ground terminal on an H3 bulb is typically the metal tab or contact on the base of the bulb. It is usually connected to the vehicle's grounding system to complete the electrical circuit.
To connect a 240V air compressor with two line terminals at the pressure switch, you will need a 240V power supply. Connect the white wire from the power supply to one line terminal and the black wire to the other line terminal at the pressure switch. Make sure the motor side wires are connected to the corresponding terminals. It's important to verify the voltage requirements of the motor and ensure proper wiring for safety and functionality.
For a 3-wire 240V 15A pump motor, you would connect the black and red wires to the hot terminals, the white wire to the neutral terminal, and the green wire to the ground terminal on the GFCI receptacle or breaker. Make sure to follow manufacturer instructions and local electrical codes to ensure proper installation and safety.

You don't say what you are connecting to the battery. If you have a black and white wire the best guess would be white to negative terminal and black to positive terminal. If you were connecting a 6V light bulb it really doesn't matter.
Wall receptacles are wired in parallel. black to black, white to white, ground to ground.
No, typically the black wire should be connected to the brass terminal on a standard electrical outlet or switch. The black wire is the hot wire that carries the electrical current.
