∙ 11y agoA 10mL graduated cylinder has graduations between each milliliter that denote 0.1mL and allow an uncertainty that is lower that 0.1mL. Because a 150mL beaker doesn't likely have many graduations, the degree of uncertainty is far greater, usually well over 1mL. Beakers are designed to hold a volume and its graduations are only meant to give an approximation while graduated cylinders are specifically designed to deliver large amounts of volume with little uncertainty.

∙ 11y agoA 150 ml beaker has a larger measurement range, so there is more potential for error in reading the volume accurately compared to a 10.0 ml graduated cylinder where the scale is more finely divided, leading to less uncertainty in measurement. Additionally, the markings on a graduated cylinder are typically more precise than those on a beaker, allowing for more accurate volume readings.
You can use a graduated cylinder or a syringe to measure milliliters accurately. These tools are marked with volume measurements that help in determining the exact amount of liquid in milliliters.

A graduated cylinder or a beaker can be used to measure the volume or capacity of a water bottle by pouring water from the bottle into the measuring instrument and reading the volume indicated on the scale.
A graduated cylinder would be more accurate for measuring the volume of a liquid compared to a beaker. This is because graduated cylinders have more precise volume markings and allow for more accurate readings due to their narrow and uniform shape.
The different shapes are one difference. The graduated cylinder is tall and tube shaped. It also has a great many lines that will give you how much fluid is in it. Beakers are shorter and wider and they may have some lines for measuring or they may not.
A graduated cylinder is more precise than a beaker because it has markings for measuring volume with greater accuracy, typically down to 0.1 mL increments. Beakers are less precise as they do not have these precise markings and are used for general mixing and heating.

One way to find the volume of a large rock is to use the water displacement method. Fill a container with a known volume of water, then carefully lower the rock into the water. Measure the change in water level to determine the volume of the rock.
A graduated cylinder is commonly used to measure and transfer liquids accurately. It has volume markings along its length, allowing for precise measurements. Additionally, a pipette is often used to transfer specific volumes of liquids from one container to another.

stop cheating on gizmos, fool. :)The Answer: The mass of the water in the graduated cylinder is equal to the mass of the object.lol

I'm unable to display images as I'm a text-based assistant. However, you can easily find pictures of beakers and graduated cylinders by doing a simple image search on the internet. Just type "beaker" or "graduated cylinder" into a search engine to see images of these laboratory glassware items.
A pipette or a burette could be used for dispensing liquids accurately in a laboratory setting. These tools allow for precise measurement and dispensing of liquid volumes.
