The missing dollar is not actually missing; it is accounted for in the difference between what the men paid ($30) and what the room actually cost ($25). Each man initially paid $10, totaling $30. The hotel received $25 for the room and gave $3 back to the men. Therefore, the men effectively paid $27 for the room, and the remaining $2 is the amount of the discrepancy.

hahaha.. easy

what we miss here after 25$ they paid also all extra 2 $ to bellboy

A:

they paid 25 + 2 dollars not 30.

25 / 3 = 8.33

2 / 3 = 0.67 -> this is the point

8.33 + 0.67=9

9 x 3 =27

27+ 3= 30

they each pay 9 dollars :)
