Well, okay i am in 8th grade, and the person who answered 12 is way wrong!
So the answer i got it 0.6 <<
1. There is a list of square roots. 6 isn't a perfect square. So it falls between 4 and 8. So now we have to do half of 4 and 8 which is 2 and 4.
2. Now you have to multiply 2. < something, by itself. You have to figure out which is closer to 6. I got 2.4. Because 2.4 times 2.4 (itself) equals 5.76.....But then 2.5 times 2.5 (itself) equals 6.25.... It would be 2.4 because its closer to 6, and 2.5 went over.
3. Finally, to get the answer we have been waiting for, you divide 2.4 by 4. Which came out to be 0.6 and i believe that is, the correct answer.
p.s. IM NOT A NERD I JUST PAY ATTENTION IN SCHOOL ;) lol

The idea is to take any perfect square out of the square root sign. root(24) = root(4 x 6) = root(4) x root(6) = 2 x root(6).The idea is to take any perfect square out of the square root sign. root(24) = root(4 x 6) = root(4) x root(6) = 2 x root(6).The idea is to take any perfect square out of the square root sign. root(24) = root(4 x 6) = root(4) x root(6) = 2 x root(6).The idea is to take any perfect square out of the square root sign. root(24) = root(4 x 6) = root(4) x root(6) = 2 x root(6).
6 Square root of 4 equals 2 3 x 2 = 6
Sure. the square root of 6 times 4 square roots of 6 is the same as the square root of 6 to the power of five which can be reduced to 6 squared times the square root of 6. The resulting answer is 36 root 6.
the square root of 96 would be 4 radical 6
It depends on whether you take the positive square root of 4 (YES) or the negative square root of 4 (No).
