do you know your 5s and 3s, than that's good! 5 x 9 = 45 and 3 x 9 = 27. Last, you add them 45 + 27 = 60 + 12 = 72. It's 72!
If you haven’t memorised it in Grade 2, you could do 8 x 10 - 8. 72.
80 ÷ 9 = 8 remainder 8
The product of 7*8*9 = 504
72... 8 goes into 72, 9 times 9 goes into 72, 8 times and 6 goes into 72, 12 times
8 goes into 78 nine times with a remainder of 6, which is the same as 9 3/4 times.
