In my opinion, there is no such thing as an irrational number, or so called "solving" Pi with traditional Math! Its a very Deep subject. Suffice it to say math as you know it: The Due Decimal system in base 10, is simply a system to rationalize. It's a logic system. Pi is a description/construct of a circle with a decimal that is never-ending and non-repeating; 3.14... "Solving" Pi is not possible in this system. Some people believe that if you were to keep going you would eventually find the end of the never ending decimal called "Pi". Silly, isn't it? One might even say that it is "irrational". Right? Pythagorean math, Egyptian Math, Vedic math..there are/were many math systems, prior to the due decimal system, base 10 system. I'm personally a fan of Vedic Math and Vortex base Math (Google Marko Rodin). It's a mind trip. If Pi could be solved with the due decimal system it would have been done already with a computer. Can't be done. Pure simple common sense. Of course if you saw the movie Pi you'd know that the answer is 216! LOL. Simply put you need Numerology, or some kind of other number theory or Fractal theoretical math or something ELSE besides a decimal to understand a circle not some human construct called Pi. Take a circle start at one point and go around the circle. Ok. So, where does the circle end? DUH! C'mon guys. Really. There is a way to start to have some kind of understanding, but you have to open your mind and study Vortex Based math or vedic math. Divide a circle by 9 and apply vedic principles, where 9 and 0 are equivalent, (live a musical octave) and you start to see the Fractal nature of our perceived reality. That's where its at. Not in useless pursuits of trying to rationalize human constructs. Also google solfeggio frequencies and fibonacci while you are at it. Great mind bending stuff to discover for the few fortunate to find themselves compelled to take the road(s) less traveled.

Einstein himself is known to have said he would have been a musician if he wasn't a physicist. Its all related. anyway. My crackpot rant is over LOL

Peace and Joy to you all! My advice. Go take along walk on a beach, enjoy a sunset, smell a flower. Much better! and oh yeah. Tell your teacher that wants you to "solve Pi. That HE is the Irrational crackpot, not you! LOL take care :)
