Since triangles have three sides and must have interior angles equal to pi or 180o, the three interior angles in all equilateral triangles will be pi/3 or 60o.However, equilateral triangles must also have equal side lengths. Since equilateral triangles with interior angles of 60o will not necessarily have the same side lengths, two equilateral triangles will sometimes be similar to each other.
No Equilateral triangles are triangles that have all of its three sides the same exact measurement. This means that if all the sides are the same then all of the interior angles will equal the same. And they always equal 60 degrees in an equilateral triangle. Equivalent traingles are just traingles that are equal in size and angles to another triangle equal. Equivalent traingles can be equilateral but they do not have to be.
Make an equilateral triangle(all same sides) with 3 lines and put the 4th on right through the middle and you have 2 right angle triangles.
All their sides are the same length
it cant be equilateral and a right triangle at the same time u idiot, equilateral triangles have angles of 60, 60, and 60 for each angle, if there is a 90 degree angle then its no longer equilateral This is WRONG. Equilateral means that all of the sides measure the same. Equiangular means that all of the angles measure the same. Isocles means that it has two angles that are the same. So it is very possible to have a right equilateral isocles triangle. I am not certain that there is a name for such a thing though, to my knowledge.
