That already is a decimal. No need to convert anything.
1 dollar = 100 cents 1/100 dollar = 0.01 = 1 cent 0.01 x 4 = 0.04
3 cents in decimal

just remove the decimal point. For example:$1.28 = 128 cents

There is 100 cents in 1 dollar so to convert from dollars to cents you multiply the dollar amount by 100. So with 39.82 when you multiply by 100 you get 3,982 cents
105% = 1.05 in decimal
If you mean 105/100 then as a decimal it is 1.05
105% is 1.05
1 dollar = 100 cents 1/100 dollar = 0.01 = 1 cent 0.01 x 4 = 0.04
3.5 cents in decimal is 0.035
Convert both to decimal, and compare. For example, divide 81 / 105, and write down the decimal equivalent; the same for the other fraction. OR: Find a common denominator, and convert both to the common denominator. It need not be the least common denominator; any common denominator will do - for example, if you multiply 105 x 300, you have a common denominator (which is not the least common denominator in this case). The decimal method is much easier, by the way.
To convert 3 58 to a decimal figure, we divide 58 by 100 (since there are 100 cents in a dollar) to get 0.58. We then add this to the whole number 3, resulting in the decimal figure 3.58.
