There is a lot ofcontroversy about this topic. Some people say that everysurface is a face and other say it's only flat surfaces. It's pretty clear in prisms ofpyramids(excluding the cone) but it get mor complicated when you get into cylinders, spheres, and cones. The best answer is, there is no definitionbecauseit's not a proper term. It would be better to talk about a base. A base is the flat surface of a shape thatappears twice of a prism, one on apyramid, twice on acylinder, and once on a cone.
A sphere
hemisphere
A cylinder.
The faces in a 3-D shape (polyhedron, for example) are bordered by edges.
-3
Any one of the plain surfaces of a solid, three-dimensional shape. Also Called -- side
They both have a face, not a :) face but a side of a shape is called a face and a 2d and 3d shape both show a face of the shape
sphere
a face.
Spherical
A sphere
A blob.
the face
Any shape you like.
Sphere
sides are the face of a 3d shape and verticies are the corner of the shape
Yes because a sphere is round in shape
