They are both primes numbers so the only factors of both numbers are 1 and the numbers themselves. Of course 1 is a common factor of all numbers we do not count it because the idea of factorization is to break a number up into unique building blocks known as prime factors. For exampe 6 is 2x3 and 12 is is 22 x 3. One does not add anything to the prime factorization so we do not include it. The answer is NO. They do not have any common factors.
