Prisms with any number of sides can have perpendicular faces. Often both end faces are perpendicular to the length.

In the case of a REGULAR octagonal prism, there will be four pairs of parallel faces, where each face of a pair will be perpendicular to the two faces of one of the other pairs.

There is not much that can be said with certainty about an irregular octagonal prism.
