Given the function f(x)4x-2 what is the value of the domain when the range is equal to 18?

The domain is what you DONATE to the equation. So, f(x)=4x-2. Let 18=4x-2. Add 2 to both sides. 4x=20 then divide each side by 4. x=5. That would be your answer.
