They do math in the ticketing field of course! Some of them often end up in cargo handling, they calculate and assign where would this baggage go to help balance the plane how much fuel is needed and so. They also count heads on passengers. Or even awareness of their flying. In the air show it is often displayed what is their flight level, etc only in one unit. They can do conversions just in case a passenger asks or for their awareness. They also do math in their awareness of time, time zones etc.
You use math in aviation by checking how long a flight will be. For example, you are in a plane that is going 100MPH and your destination is 100 miles away. There are 60 minutes in an hour, so you will get there in 60 minutes.

Everyone uses math every day. Architects use math to make sure that their building designs are stable. Teachers use math to count the number of students in the class. Salesmen use math to figure out their profits.

OEW = DOEW + Catering Allowance + Flight attendents
Flight attendants use math in their daily job duties, though it may not necessarily be advanced mathematics. They must use math when taking payments for food and drink, for example, and providing change.
no really, really popular. but well known by the company and flight attendents i guess you could say.
All flight attendents get paid differently. Some get paid by the hour or by the day. Usually flight attendents get paid $11.50 per hour and some get paid $22 to $30. On "Southwest Airlines" your pay can be up to $45 per hour if you have been working up to 9 years. It is a great job for anyone that is single and loves to travel.

stewardess I think now they prefer to be called "flight attendants", because they are male and female.
They use math to make sure there is enough supplies on the aircraft for the amount of passengers and for the length of the flight. They also need to be able to figure out time zone differences, currency conversions, how much time is left in flight, before service times, before landing, all to make sure the timing of the services is done so they're not serving soda's and landing at the same time. They need math skills. Not a high level of math, but math nonetheless.
Yes. I know someone that is 5 and he flew to Seattle and Puerto Rico by himself. The flight attendents take good care of you throughout the flight. They also make sure you board and depart the plane safely.
it think the Olympics
The correct spelling is 'attendants'.
it is not so much the hunting part where math is used but the shooting part, we use math for bullet trajectory or the figuring of the flight of the bullet to the point of impact
