In a number, the last number will be a "one" place, the next number to the left in the "ten" place and so on. So in this problem, 6 is in the "one" place, 0 in the "ten" place and 8 in the "hundred" place. Rounding up is estimating a number to a nearest ten or hundred or whatever the problem asks.

In this problem, they ask to round up to the nearest 10. You must look at the number after the "ten"place, i.e. 6. When a number is more than 5, you have to add on.


So, 806= 810
