The "easy" way is to move the decimal point one place to the left and add that new number to the original number. For example, take the number 42:
42 (the decimal point is implied and is at the right side)
4.2 (the new number)

Add those two numbers to get 46.2.


Another way is to multiply the number by 1.1, which is the same as 110%.
