You take the largest # in your group and subtract the smallest number in your group from it.

Ex: 1,2,3,4,5,6

You find the range by taking 6 (the largest)-1 (smallest)

6-1=5 so the range would be 5.

Oops, I just realized you might mean Range as in Domain and Range. In that case your range is the range of the y values in your equation when you look for the function of x.
