Area of a circle = πr2, where π is the symbol for pi and is 3.14159... , and r is the radius. If you are using a scientific calculator, you will probably have a key for π. Once you have the radius, it's just a matter of correctly entering it into your calculator according to the formula. The unit for area is squared, for example 32in2 or 59m2.
Area of a circle equals 3.14r^2.

So multiply the radius times itself. Then times pi.
