Yes, that is a good idea to do a lemonade stand or bake sale...but you would have to make it popular to even get anycustomers. Last year, me and my neighbor did a lemonade stand, and we only got one customer. ONE customer. If you want to get customers, first: Go to a busy street. Second: Improve advertising. Third: Kindly ask customers to spread the news(spreading the word using customers is always good).

Here are some other ways to come up with the money:

Babysitting - If you don't know anyone who needs babysitting, either advertise, or ask your neighbors and friends if they know anyone.

Odd Jobs - Just mow the lawn, take out the trash...etc. Do this mostly for your neighbors, it's easier if you know the person.

I'm really sorry, but I can't come up with the time it would take to make 250 dollars out of any of these. There really is no way to come up with the money 'lightning fast,' and I know because I am a kid, and I've tried. I did come up with the money, even if it took a bit of a while. Just be patient; for money, you need to work for it, no matter what.
