the pi button always located on the top of 'EXP' button.
I have not yet come across a calculator with a single button for pi, but pi equals 22 divided by 7(3.142...). Hope I helped.
Most likely, it means Standard Deviation. which is used in analyzing a set of data. See related link.* * * * *The Casio range, popular with GCSE and A level students in the UK, has a button marked SD. This is a toggle between decimal (D) and standard (S) form (fraction, pi).
You have to use pi bc the circle full length is 3.14 but that is a regular term people use to multiple without a calculator
Most calculators use the rounded-off version of pi, which is 3.14159265 (eight significant digits are more than most math problems will require).
Press the SHIFT button on the top left and then press the pi button in the bottom middle.

Most scientific calculators have a button for pi. So to find the circumference of a circle multiply pi by the diameter. If there is no pi button you can approximate pi as 3.14.
Yes, close enough for Pi.
first you do 23.5 X 23.5 (square it) which is 552.25. Then you multiply by pi. If your calculator has a pi button, use it, but if not, round to 3.14. 552.25 X 3.14 = 1734.065 If you have a pi button, you should get 1734.94454294496. Because Pi is irrational, even this is rounded. The easier way to use pi is 3.14 because you a most likely not expected to go out 20 decimal places for pi.
To find the circumference of a circle, multiply the diameter by Pi. Pi is written as 3.14 or just use the Pi button on a calculator. You could also write something to the effect of 3pi.
If you use pi as 3.14, the answer is 12.56. If you use the pi button on your calculator, it is still simplified to 12.56, but if you want the full number, it is 12.56637061. The algebra is pi multiplied by diameter OR pi multiplied by radius squared Pi is often just used as 3.14

Pie = A type of food Pi = A number So, I'm guessing you meant "how do you get the square root of pi"? The only practical way to do this is to use a calculator or something similar. If it's a scientific calculator there will be a Pi button (a little symbol that looks a bit like a double stalked T). If not, use the approximation Pi = 3.141593. Your answer should be 1.7725 (rounded to 4 d.p.).
C = 2 pi (r) (two times pi times the radius of the circle) OR C = pi (d) (pi times the diameter of the circle). Often, pi is rounded off to equal 3.14, so if your calculator does not have a pi button on it, then use 3.14.
area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. If you simplify pi to 3.14, then the area is about 18.0864 square meters. For a more accurate calculation, use a calculator that has a pi button, and multiply it by 5.76.For reference sake, pi looks somewhat like this:__| |
