Also, just so you know, the decimal digits work like this:

first number after a decimal (period) is in the tenths place;

second number is in the hundredths place;

third number is in the thousandths place;

and so on and so forth. It starts off in the tens place because, for some really obscure and supposedly profound reason, the ones place isn't after the decimal, but instead is the number right before it.

For example:

8.19 -

8 is in the one's place;

1 is in the tenths place;

and 9 is in the hundredths place
