Pi can be used to find a circle, For the circumference-Pi x D, or for the radius Pi x r2
When was pi first being used approximated?
Pi is used to find the area and perimeter of a circle and the volume of a sphere, cylinder, and cone. Pi=3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510582097494459230781640628620899862803482534211706798214808651328230664709384460955058223172535940812848111745028410270193852110555964462294895493038196... That was 200 decimal places of Pi.
William Jones first used the pi symbol (π) in 1706
Pi (3.141...) is used for circles, and circles only. You use it to find the area and circumfrence.
yes pi is used around the world today
Pi is used in many ways today. The simplest way it to find the circumference (the perimeter) of a circle or the area (amount of space inside) of a circle.
Pi always is the same. 3,1416.....
Today is Pi Day in math which is March 14th and the first three digits of pi are 3.14
pi is greek for the number 3.14292 ect. It came from greek mathematicians thousands of years ago and is still used today

You are probably thinking about Rahmanujan. However, he didn't really "create pi" - God created pi. Nor did he discover it, pi was known well before Rahmanujan. What he did do was to find some very efficient formulae to calculate pi to many decimal places - formulae that are still used today.
Pi can be used to calculate the area of a circle Pi can be used to calculate the circumference of a circle
Pi was first used by the Babylonians and Egyptians.
