A perimeter is not enough to determine the area.

A 4000 ft perimeter could be a circular shape with radius giving an area of 1,273,000 sq ft (approx) = 29.23 acres.

It could be a 1000 ft * 1000 ft square with an area of 1,000,000 sq ft = 22.96 acres

or a 500 ft * 1500 ft rectangle with an area of 750,000 sq ft = 17.22 acres

or a 100 ft * 1900 ft rectangle with an area of 190,000 sq ft = 4.36 acres

or a 10 ft * 1990 ft rectangle with an area of 19,900 sq ft = 0.46 acres

or a 1 ft * 1999 ft rectangle with a n area of 1,999 sq ft = 0.05 acres

or a 0.1 ft * 1999.9 ft etc.

As you might guess from the above, by reducing one dimension the area of the parcel of land can be reduced without limit although the perimeter is left unchanged.

What are the dimensions of a square 640 acres?

The parcel contains 27,878,400 square feet, equal to one square mile. Each side of the parcel measures one mile (5,280 feet). The perimeter length is 21,200 feet. The length of the diagonal is 7,470 feet.

What is the perimeter of 150 acres?

To find the perimeter of 150 acres, we need to know the shape of the land. Since acres measure area, we can't directly calculate the perimeter without additional information. If the land is a square, we would need to find the square root of 150 to determine the side length, then multiply by 4 to find the perimeter. If the land is a rectangle, we would need the length and width to calculate the perimeter using the formula 2(length + width).

How many feet perimeter for a 2.5 acres?

The area (acres) doesn't tell the perimeter. If the 2.5 acres is square, than the perimeter is 1,320 feet. If the 2.5 acres is a field that's 100-ft wide and 1,089-ft long, then the perimeter is 2,378 feet. The perimeter can be ANY distance longer than 1,320 feet.

What is the perimeter of 500 acres in miles?

To find the perimeter of 500 acres in miles, we first need to determine the dimensions of the area. Since 1 acre is equal to 43,560 square feet, 500 acres would be 500 * 43,560 = 21,780,000 square feet. To find the dimensions, we need to calculate the square root of 21,780,000 which is approximately 4,666. Therefore, the perimeter would be 4,666 feet or about 0.88 miles.

What are the perimeter dimensions on 4000 square feet?

They could be almost anything. A strip of land 1 foot by 4000 feet would have a perimeter of 8002 feet. A plot 50 x 80, still 4000 square feet, would have a perimeter of 260 feet.
