I assume you mean cl as in "centi litre". As its name states a centi litre is 1/100 of a litre, hence 1 litre contains 100 cl. It is not usual to divide a litre in centi litres, the most usual custom is to divide a litre into mili litres (ml) A 12 ounces sodas can is transformed into a 355 ml. can, and a 1 quart oil bottle becomes one that contains 946 ml.
