Split each pizza into five equal parts, giving one fifth of each pizza to each person, so that in the end, each person has a total of 3 fifths of pizza, with each fifth coming from a different pizza pie
To calculate the total number of slices needed, multiply the number of people by the number of slices each person will have: 7 people x 4 slices = 28 slices. Since each pizza has 8 slices, divide the total number of slices needed by the number of slices per pizza: 28 slices / 8 slices per pizza = 3.5 pizzas. Since you cannot order half a pizza, round up to the nearest whole number, so they should order 4 pizzas.
6/8 + 4/8 + 5/8 + 7/8 = 22/8 = 2 6/8 = 2 3/4 = 2.75 pizzas eaten
A pizza can be cut into eleven pieces with 4 straight cuts if an X is cut, then the rest of the pizza is cut starting from the right and working to the left in four straight lines.
Cenimeters
If you must use all 5 with no repetition, you can make only one pizza. 5C5, the last entry on the 5 row of Pascal's triangle. If you can choose as many toppings as you want, all the way down to none (cheese pizza), then you have 5C0 + 5C1 + 5C2 + 5C3 + 5C4 + 5C5 = 32. Another way to think about it is no toppings would allow one pizza (cheese), one topping would allow two pizzas (cheese, pepperoni), two toppings would allow four pizzas, three toppings would allow eight pizzas, four toppings would allow sixteen, creating an exponential pattern. p = 2 ^ t. So, 10 toppings would permit 1024 different combinations

well, you can to topping 1&2, topping 2&3, topping 1&3, topping 1, 2 and 3, and you can also do all three toppings. so that's seven different types for one size pizza, and you can have all combinations in four sizes. that makes a total of 28 different pizza combinations.
Although most people would think that there are four they are wrong! The are actually two objects (pizzas) in a pizza singles pack. Although Mccain actually say that there are four pizzas/singles they just judge that by the size per serve. So next time you eat some pizza singles, don't think that you are eating four you are actually just eating two.
The word "pizza" is a count noun. As a count noun: We ordered four pizzas. I ate an entire pizza. We shared a small pizza.
Four pizzas
Split each pizza into five equal parts, giving one fifth of each pizza to each person, so that in the end, each person has a total of 3 fifths of pizza, with each fifth coming from a different pizza pie
To calculate the total number of slices needed, multiply the number of people by the number of slices each person will have: 7 people x 4 slices = 28 slices. Since each pizza has 8 slices, divide the total number of slices needed by the number of slices per pizza: 28 slices / 8 slices per pizza = 3.5 pizzas. No Side by side the total would be 20 inches but there would be a space at top and bottom Assuming they are the same depth, then the comparison is between the areas. As the lengths are in the ratio of 10:20 = 1:2, their areas are in the ratio 1²:2² = 1:4 Thus the 20 inch pizza has four times the area of a 10 in pizza, ie a 20 inch pizza is the same as FOUR 10 inch pizzas.
