There's no such thing as a linear acre. A field of 25 acres can be as long as you

want it to be, if it's skinny enough.

The most compact 25-acre rectangle is a square that's 1,043.55 feet on every side.

But if it's 206.25 miles long and 1 foot wide, it's still 25 acres.
