There can be no equivalence.
A metre is a measure of length in 1-dimensional space while a square metre is a measure of area in 2-dimensional space. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, any attempt at conversion from one to the other is fundamentally flawed.

1 metre = 1.0936 var (yards).
9 sqm is of different dimension as of a feet. you cant convert square meters to feet. but if you were asking square feet then, 9 sqm = 96.88 sqft
'mm' millimetres is a measure of length. 1 sq. mtr' is a measure of area. However, there are 1000 mm in 1 metre. So in 1 m^2 there are 1000mm X 1000 mm = 1,000,000 mm^2
You can't convert that.

There need not be any water in it - it could be empty! The volume is 15 metres3.

1 gaj = 9 sq mtr so 500 sq mtr = 500 / 9 gaj ~ 55.56 gaj
