the M25 is reported to be 117 miles long , so if it was a circle the area can be calculated

C = 2 pie R where c is circumference and R the radius

so R = 117/2 Pie = 18.6 miles approx

so the area A = pie R squared

A=1087 miles if it was a circle which it isnt so i would take away somewhere between 5 and 15 per cent

5% of 1087 = about 54

15% about 162

so about 925 - 1033 square miles , although ive read somewhere its only about 600 square miles so maybe my maths is a bit dodgy when im drunk
