The standard weight of 24 gauge sheet steel ... notgalvanized, stainless,or aluminum ... is 1.000 lb per ft2 .
Using density of steel @ 490.06 pounds per cubic foot (approx) 8 * 10 * (1/12) * 490.06 = 3267.07 pounds (approx)
It would weigh about 14.3 pounds .
You cannot weigh an area, but you can weigh a volume... so, one cubic meter of stainless steel weighs 7480 - 8000 kg. See related link for the source.
Depends how long it is
A steel plate of that size would weigh approximately 368 pounds.
A cubic inch of 4130 steel weighs approximately 0.283 pounds.
How much does a 16 foot 12 inch mdf weigh
the 16 inch steel rim is about 9.4kg
it depends if it is a real mirror and how thick/ tall it is :D
245 lbs
A half-inch thick sheet of plate steel measuring 4 feet by 8 feet has a volume of 128 cubic feet (4 ft x 8 ft x 0.5 ft). Steel has a density of approximately 490 pounds per cubic foot. Therefore, the weight of the sheet would be about 62,720 pounds (128 cubic feet x 490 pounds/cubic foot).
TO answer this question, you need to know the density and the volume of the piece of steel. For example, "mild steel" weighs .284 pounds per cubic inch. The volume of a 12 inch x 12 inch x 1 inch piece of steel is 12 * 12 * 1 = 144 cubic inches. .284 pounds/inch^3 * 144 inch^3 = 40.896 pounds. So each of these steel tiles will weigh about 41 pounds.
Steel sheets are generally sold by the size instead of the weight of the peice. Depending on the thickness of the steel sheet the price may very well vary. An example a thinner steel sheet of 12 inch by 48 inch should cost around thirty to forty dollars. However something much thicker could very well cost a few hundred dollars, sometimes it exists in the thousands. Sheet metal is usually sold my square inch. The thickness is taken into account when finding prices. For Example a 24x24 sheet of T-301 .016" thick stainless steel sells for 100$.
A 4x8 sheet of 1/2 inch standard weighs apptroximately 52 pounds. The new 'Light ' board wieghs about 34 pounds.
You need to specify the wall thickness in order to calculate the weight.
It depends on what the ruler's made out of. A plastic ruler would inevitably weigh less than a steel ruler.
