Also, where you are located is important because building materials and labor rates vary quite a lot by region. Finally, is there an old fence to remove? Labor and dump costs are considerable in densely populated areas, but much less so out in the wide open spaces. 60 feet of nicely done 6' height wood fence with new posts, installed, and some related concrete work cost me $1500 last year. That's $25 per foot. Chain-link, cement block, split rail, wood picket, etc., are all priced very differently.
