That's sort of hard to say. You'd have to use the general area formula, which is, A=1/2(length of apothem)(perimeter of polygon). Yeah, the apothem's the line drawn from the center of the pentagon to the point where it bisects it, you know, like a median. So you'd have to create a right triangle which is 1/2 the length of the side and do 360/5, which is 75. Do 75/2 and then, if you know the side or hypotenuse, use trig to find the apothem and side if needed. Then apply the formula. Okay, so here's an ex. You know the length of the side of a pentagon is 12. So you'd set up the equation sin(75/2)=6/x(your apothem). Simplify that and you get the apothem. Th perimeter'll be 12x5=60 and you'd use the general area formula to solve it. That's about all there is to it. If you still need help, I'd recommend coolmath.com. They might have something on this written in a simple form. I don't know. Try it! Anyhow, hope this works for you!
