A composite number is any number who has more than 2 factors.

ex: 10

Factors of 10 = 1, 2, 5, 10.

10 has 4 factors, and is composite.

ex: 7

Factors of 7 = 1, 7.

7 has 2 factors, and is not composite.

Anything with 2 factors is called Prime.

it has factors of 1 and itself only.

To find the factors of 208, see if you can divide it by a number evenly.

2 will work, since 208 is even.

This means, so far the factors are 1, 2 and 208. (there are more)

But I will stop here, because 208 has at least 3 factors. 3 is more than 2, and when a number has more than 2 factors....

208 is composite.
