I have never come across the term "blunt" angle. The rays of an angle always meet at a point and there is no rounding of these rays so the only interpretation that I can put on a blunt angle is that it is an obtuse angle. IF that is the case, (and sorry if I have misunderstood), then a right angle is smaller.

Angles larger than a right angle and smaller than two right angles (between 90° and 180°) are called obtuse angles("obtuse" meaning "blunt").
No, an acute angle is between 0 and 90 degrees.A right angle is 90 degrees. An obtuse angle is between 90 and 180 degrees.A reflex angle is an angle bigger than 180 degrees.
Bigger than 90 (a right angle), less than 180 (a straight line).
It is: "angle a is not a right angle" or "angle a is greater than or less than a right angle".
A obtuse angle is called an obtuse angle because if obtuse means bigger in degrees and a right angle is 90 degrees than a obtuse angle must be over 90 degrees.
