I have found no published data for reloading this caliber. I have found a number of suggested loads that are on the extreme side of caution. Reloading brass is available, but searching it out is necessary. Specific reloading dies are also available, but very expensive. I load for this caliber with .32 ACP dies, but a special 7.65 French shell holder is a must. Jacketed .3085, 93 grain bullets for the .30 Luger are a very good substitute for the orignial 86 grain French FMJ bullets. I have found that charges of 3.4 grains Unique powder barely cycle the slide on a MAS 1935, while charges in excess of 3.7 grains seem to be near maximum. I have chronographed my loads, and found that a 3.5 to 3.6 grain charge of Unique offer about 1175 feet per second, close to the advertised French velocity of 1200 feet per second. Light wieght 77 grain .32 ACP bullets are just that - very light for the 7.65 French, and are .310 to .313 in diameter vs the .3085 standard in this caliber. Buffalo Arms used to offer converted .32 S&W Long brass at reasonable prices. Bertram brass is expensive.
