"Kilogram" and "kilometer" are both 1,000 of something. That's what the prefix 'kilo...' means,
and they're equal in that sense.

But "kilograms" refers to a quantity of mass, whereas "kilometers" refers to a distance, so there's
no way to directly compare them. That would be like asking: Is ounces greater than minutes ?
