A googolplex is a 1 followed by a googol of zeroes. The amount of zeroes equal one googol. If the universe is infinite, there's an infinite amount of everything in it. If we're talking about the visible universe (everywhere from where light has had time to reach us since the Big Bang, which is what scientists often mean when they say 'the universe'), then it has been estimated to contain 10^120 bits of information. That is, if you think of the universe as a giant computer, or if you tried to simulate it on one: see the link. That's 20 orders of magnitude greater than a googol.

If you mean physical objects, then the answer is that it is unlikely. Current (2017) estimates suggest that there are 10^78 to 10^82 atoms in the known universe. Most of these are hydrogen atoms which have only two primary sub-particles. Even if you go down to the level of quarks, you will not get an average of 10^18 sub-particles per atom.

On the other hand, there are plenty of cases where there are more than a googol conceptual aspects.

How did the universe look like a googol years ago?

There was no universe a googol years ago. The universe is only about 14.5 billion years old.

How did the universe look a googol years ago?

There was no universe a googol years ago. The universe is only between 10-20 billion years old.

Is a googol larger than all of the atoms in the universe?

A googol is larger than the estimated number of atoms in the observable universe.

Is there any googol amount of anything?

There is no google amount of anything, but a googol is a 1 followed by 100 zeros

How much zeros does a googol plex have?

A googol plex has so many zeros that even if you wrote one Zero on every atom in the entire universe there still wouldn't be enough. But as for your question: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. This number is called a googol. So Googol Plex= 1googol

Can you compare googolplex with anything?

No. You cannot even compare a Googol to anything, as googol = 10100. The number of particles in the universe is about 1080. Googolplex (10googol) would take so long to print out that it will take over 520 years to have a computer powerful enough to print this number within the twelve to twenty four months it will take to replace the computer printing it.

What happens in one googol years?

I don't know that we're able to predict accurately so far out, but if the heat death of the universe is what actually will happen, then the universe will have been reduced to absolute zero for billions of years by the time we get to 1 googol.

It is also written as 10^100-1, since it is 9 followed by 99 nines, (A googol is 1 followed by 100 zeroes) it is a googol minus one.

What do you use a googol for?

it's a number it looks like this: 10^10^100 and googolplex is a number it is higher than the number of hydrogen atoms in the observable universe! scientist use googol for rocket science! EDIT: 10^10^100 is a googolplex, not a googol. A googol is 10^100 whereas a googolplex is 10^googol Its use, however, has no mathematical significance. A googol was pretty much invented for fun by a mere 9-year old.

Is there anything higher than sextrillion?

Of course. That is Googol,Googolplex and Googolplexian.

How many 0's are there in googelplex?

Well a googol is a 1 in front of 100 zeros. Therefore a googolplex is 1 in front of a googol amount of zeros. If we were to write it out it would take up aprox. the whole universe.
