not that i can find anywhere but the story line isn't too difficult. nora goes to England where she meets her friend from home, she gets a job but her employer isn't happy with her and she loses the job and from there on she has nothing but bad luck. she starts drinking and then becomes a prostitute. she feels deep shame when she thinks of her life at home and eventually goes and speaks to a priest. the priest says he can help her get home and this makes nora really happy. when she gets home she is so ashamed of herself she locks herself away and does not speak of her time in England and after a while she starts to drink again. her father is at first really happy to have her home but he soon finds out the truth and he is filled with shame, sadness and anger, his heart is broken.
