To work it out just turn it into an equation

Total no of books = fiction books + non-fiction books + picture books

fiction books (fb)= non-fiction (nf)+240

picture books (pb) = non-fiction (nf)-190

Therefore:

(nf + 240) + nf + (nf - 190) = 2630

3nf + 50 = 2630

nf = (2630 - 50) ÷ 3

nf = 860

fb = nf + 240 = 1100

pb = nf - 190 = 670

There are 1100 fiction books, 860 non-fiction books and 670 picture books in the library

If John plans to donate his collection of 3042 books to three libraries in the ratio of 135 How many books will each library get?

Total number of books=3042 Sum of the terms of the ratio=1+3+5=9 Number of books to the first library=1/9*3042 =338 Number of books to the second library=3/9*3042=1014 Number of books to the third library=5/9*3042=15210 Hence, the first library will get 338, the second library will get 1014 and the third library will get 15210 books.

Is request an adverb?

The short answer is no, the word "request" is not an adverb. Like many words, it can be a verb or a noun, depending on how it is used in a sentence. The best way to find out this kind of information is to look up the word in a dictionary. Along with definitions, a dictionary will tell you what part of speech a word is. If you go to dictionary.com, for example, you'll see that the definition for "request" is broken up by part of speech. First, it tells you what it means as noun, then as a verb, and then, in this case, how it is used idiomatically. Questions about words can also be directed to librarians who work at public libraries. If you go to a college or university, there are librarians there who can help you, too. You can go to the library in person or use the library's online reference services, which you can find on your library's website. They can answer your questions quite quickly!

What are the types of books found in the library?

Almost any type of book can be found in a library! Fiction, non-fiction, children's books, reference books, large print, and audiobooks are some of the most common types of books that can be found. Not all libraries will carry all book types, due to restrictions in budget or space, as well as the focus of the library. For example, a special library that focuses on rare children's book from the 19th century isn't going to have modern adult fiction within it's collection.
