This question is very simple

First the question tells us that Bob three years ago was twice as old as Adam

So we have b-3 (b representing Bob). The question then says let "a" represent Adam's age.

So:

b-3=2(a+4)<--(this equation a+4 is because "a" represents Adam's age and 4 because 4 years from now)

Now simplify:

b-3=2a+8

b=2a+11

2a+11 is your answer
