Most mathematicians use the number, like 50-gon or 60-gon.

The root for 50 is pentaconta, the root for 60 is hexaconta. There is some disagreement as to whether the roots for the single digits precede or follow the tens and if they follow, whether the root for "and" (kai) should be used. If you want to show off, here's one possibility:
