Typically that's because the camshaft is improperly timed. If a piston kisses a valve you'll usually cause serious damage to piston, valve, head, pushrods... all because a valve tried to open at the wrong time.
Another possibility would be a seized valve, but that's far more common in engines that have not been used for a long time. I would say ,possibly a bent valve stem. if the engine has run ok in the past. although the above answer may very well be correct.
Make a triangle out of straws or something. See if you can push it sideways like a square. I you try to, you either bend it, break it or push the entire thing sideways... You can't bend it like a square. this is why triangles is the strongest shape. And also tall skyscrapers are made from triangles if looked from a birds eye-view... :D:D:D
80 rods
1 chain = 4 rods.
There are 320 rods in a mile. Therefore, 80 rods is equal to 80/320 = 0.25 miles.
The average shower rod will vary from 44" (112 cm) to 72" (182 cm). There are various styles of shower rods, however, that curve or bend and are adjustable. Ones that curve will have other dimensions than a standard "straight" shower rod.
You will bend the rods and the valves and you will 'break' the engine
it counld bend your push rods or posibly not lit your valves to seal.
It could be some sort of liquid in the cylinder. It will cause it to hydraulic and bend rods.
long ones are exhaust
The rocker arm.
Being an overhead cam engine, a Neon doesn't have push rods.
Double check the new push rods, they come in many lengths.
It's not really about what rockers you run. If you have guide plates, you need hardened push rods.
A 2002 Chrysler Sebring has an overhead cam engine. That means it does not have push rods.
Push rods bend when there is no more clearance between valves and that no. 3 piston. There could be a foreign object sitting on top of that piston...or those valves set too tight.
Yes, it's possible. But the push rods usually take the worst of it.
what should you torque the rocker arms to when you reinstall the push-rods to on a 3.4 pontiac
