The word "experimental" is usually used to describe data that have come from an actual test or experiment. These data are opposite to "theoretical" data, which are only educated guesses at what the data should look like. In statistics, theoretical probability is used a lot. For example, if I flip a coin, in theory, it would land on each side half of the time. Perform some trials, however, and this percentage may be skewed. The experimental data that you collect probably wouldn't exactly match the theoretical probability.
An array is a computer science equivalent of a vector in mathematics. Both contain a list of data.

You do not convert any data in Excel. A table is a layout to organize the data. If you want the data to look like it is in a table, then move the data to where you would like it to display.

To collect data, a person must first know what they want to get data about. If someone wants data about horses, they would find a lot of horses and look at them for the data they would like to collect (such as color, size, or speed).
A rough draft of what an application will look like is often called a wireframe. A rough draft of what an application will do is often called a schema or a functionality map. A rough draft of what data an application will interact with is called a data model.
