What does round to the nearest ten mean?

It means you should take your answer and round it up or down to the nearest multiple of ten. and number that ends in 1,2,3,4 you round down and any number ending in 5,6,7,8,9 you round up. for instance . . .

13 ends in a 3 and would round down to 10.

18 ends in an 8 and would round up to 20.

775 ends in a 5 and would round up to 780.

1282 ends in a 2 and would round down to 1280.
